Happy May! I love this month, not only has spring sprung but it flourishing during the month of May. Warm days, cool nights, vibrant spring flowers and all my favorite greens and fruit start showing up at my local farmer’s market. I’m a huge fan of my local market, it started way back as a child when I’d make the trip downtown with my mom to walk up and down the sidewalks of the Dallas Farmer’s Market; my eyes and stomach taking in all the fresh produce. As we made our way through the crowd sampling the ripe tomatoes with a bit of salt, the decadent fruit that had been picked the night before or that first taste of sweet watermelon I knew then that I’d have long love affair with the market, and y’all that is exactly what I’ve done.
That is why this month I’m bringing you MY guide to the farmer’s market. I love this topic so much and can’t wait to share with you some of my “secrets” in making the market work in your favor. I’m also really digging the menu I created especially for this workshop. There will be a lot of extras thrown in this month (I’m talking some cool gift bags with some local market finds!) so be sure you register early, I do not want you to miss out.

Until then, make sure you are taking a few moments each day to enjoy the sun if it’s shining, the raindrops if they’re falling and the vibrant color that unfolds this time of year.
